"My topic is the residents of the White Building. I took photographs of them while they are doing their normal, daily work. The simple moments when I recorded them was special for me – the people were so kind and we - for the first time - spoke to each other. Even though many of these people do not know each other, they are hanging here together as a part of one community. I came to understand more about people’s livelihoods – my neighbors – through these images, and I hope the public can, too."
